UNP reshuffles its top posts

Minister of Primary Industries Daya Gamage has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the United National Party, Ada Derana reporter says.


The decision was taken at the UNP Working Committee Meeting held in Colombo this morning (05).


Meanwhile, the post of National Organizer has been abolished from the party, Ada Derana reporter added. Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam was appointed Chairman of the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya (JSS) in addition to his Deputy General Secretary post.


MP kavinda jayawardana was appointed as the President of the National Youth Front (NYF), while Deputy Minister Anoma Gamage was appointed Chairperson of the Lak Vanitha Peramuna.
